Barnstock is thrilled to present DAVE SCOTT, PETE LEVIN, LEW SCOTT & MATT GARRITY. This amazing group of musicians will take the stage SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10th @ 6pm for what will surely prove to be an amazing evening of music in the Hudson Valley!
DAVE SCOTT is an award winning trumpet player with a wide range of professional experience who has worked with some of the greatest jazz artists in the world such as Gerry Mulligan, Tom Harrell, Rich Perry, Gary Versace, Jeff Williams, and Ben Monder.
PETE LEVIN, In a diverse music career spanning several decades, keyboardist/arranger Pete Levin has performed and recorded with hundreds of Jazz and Pop artists – including Paul Simon, Annie Lennox, Miles Davis, David Sanborn, Lenny White, Wayne Shorter, Jaco Pastorius, Robbie Robertson and John Scofield – receiving critical accolades for his work during a 15 year association with the legendary Gil Evans, and his 8 year stint with jazz icon Jimmy Giuffre.
LEW SCOTT, bassist, has been performing in the New York area and throughout the country for many years. He has performed with many notable musicians, including Clark Terry, Conti Condoli, Frank Rosolino, Joe Lavano, Herb Ellis, George Coleman, Dave Liebman, Jack Sheldon, Peggy Stern and John Abercrombie.
MATT GARRITY, drummer, has been on the music scene since 1994. He has performed with some of the best in the business, including Grammy winner, Vincent Herring, David Williams, Teri Thornton, Ron McLure, Ben Monder, Ratzo Harris, John Stetch, Jeremy Pelt, Steve Slagle, Ed Cherry and Jerome Richardson, among others.
BARNSTOCK Outdoors! is set in the great lawn amongst the tall pines behind the 1911 renovated barn. A breathtaking, serene setting for live music.
